Sit-A-Thon 2006 - Goddard Park Carousel House
The most successful Sit-A-thon yet, as 28 thoughtful and hardworking sitters and 3 helpers raised a new record for pledges to benefit Camp Hope at the Carousel house near the bay. Camp Hope is a free summer camp for children with cancer in Rhode Island run by the American Cancer Society. Sit-A-Thon Press:

A superlative day for a sitathon, as we were joined not only by dozens of enthusiastic Obscure Company members, but also audience to the annual Narragansett Indian Pow Wow, as well as a Rhode Island Blood Bank Blood Drive. With so much time passed and donations having trickled to a stand still, we are happy to report our final numbers. Total Expected Donation to the $3650.00 Our record 138 individual donors, supporting our record 16 sitters, allowed us to collect a record 88.11% of all pledges. Our top collector was: John Colwell
