Sit-A-Thon Fundraising Incentives

  

This year, we wanted a way to reward all of our sitters for their hard work in gathering pledges, so we established our first pledge incentive program for sitters.  We hope that the prizes listed below will motivate you to maximize your fundraising efforts.

$75 of pledges or more: 2006 Sit-A-Thon T-shirt 
 

 

Ah, you were wondering why our registration form asks for your T-shirt size, weren’t you?  For participating in our event and collecting a minimal amount of pledges, we will reward you with our extra-special, limited edition, too-cool-for-school Sit-A-Thon T-shirt.   

 

 

$300 of collected donations*: Four (4) passes to Showcase Cinemas 

 

$300 for charity is nothing to sneeze at.  For accomplishing this feat, we invite you to… do more sitting!  (In a movie theater this time.) 
 

 

 

$500 of collected donations*: Personalized Tankard 

 

 

You decided to join the exclusive club of $500 sitters?  We salute you!  And what better way to toast your success than with this personalized 14oz. tankard.  Each sitter who reaches this lofty goal will receive a tankard engraved with their name and their most-appreciated accomplishment.  Pour it full of juice and get ready to party! 

 

 

$1000 of collected donations*: Personalized Tankard and Free Admission to the Obscure Company Banquet

The elite of the elite $1000 sitter club.  Exactly one person has made it to this level in the long arduous history of Obscure Company Sitting, and he is currently the President of The Obscure Company (Imagine the possibilities!).  Ok, so the real way we celebrate our accomplishments of this magnitude is a massive 20oz personalized tankard and free admission to our Annual Obscure Company Banquet!  Congratulations and welcome to the club.
 

 

  

 

PROGRAM RULES 
 

• All prize eligibility (except the T-shirts) will be determined based upon an estimate of pledges to be collected after the event, in addition to any money collected online prior to the event.  As a result, prizes will be shipped to the sitters approximately 4-6 weeks after the event date.  If the Company determines that there are too many pledges outstanding to accurately determine a sitter’s prize eligibility, we reserve the right to delay shipment of their prize for a reasonable period to ensure that the proper goals were obtained.

• Prizes are not cumulative except where noted.  So, for example, a sitter who raises $650 will receive the tankard only, and not the movie passes. 

• Staff members of the Obscure Company are not eligible for the pledge incentive program.
